Predator 26

The Predator 26 launched on 1 December 2025 in Elite, Pro, League and Club versions, with laced, laceless and fold-over-tongue Elite options. The headline technology is NANOSTRIKE+, a new approach to the strike zones, paired with POWERSPINE, a stiffening element running through the soleplate from heel to forefoot to support a stronger shot. The STRIKEFRAME soleplate was reworked with a new stud layout.

Special editions have leaned hard into heritage: the “Unlocked” edition, inspired by the Predator Precision and dedicated to the boot’s legends, and an EQT edition marking 35 years of adidas Equipment.

Where the 26 fits

The 26 carries on where the Predator 24 started: a boot that looks backwards for its identity and forwards for its engineering. The fold-over tongue, restored in 2024, is still the signature Elite option. What has changed is on the surface and underneath. NANOSTRIKE+ replaces the 25’s HybridTouch with a softer, lighter mesh carrying integrated grip elements — still the original Predator idea of grip on the upper, but spread more evenly than the pronounced rubber of recent years. POWERSPINE is a revival: a lightweight, full-length plate through the soleplate, an idea the Predator line first explored in the late 2000s, brought back to steady the midfoot as you strike.

On foot

The most detailed early review we’ve read points to two things: a firmer, more planted feel when striking, thanks to POWERSPINE, and grip that is worked into the upper rather than sitting on it as raised rubber. It also reports a longer break-in than the 25.

Jude Bellingham leads the line, alongside Pedri, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Aitana Bonmatí and Alessia Russo.
