Predator 26 Elite vs Pro vs League vs Club

What you get at each level.

Every Predator 26 carries the same name, the same look and, now, the option of a fold-over tongue — from across a changing room, they are all unmistakably Predator. Up close they are different boots. Here is what changes as you move down the range.

Elite

The Predator at its most technical. The thinnest upper, the full NANOSTRIKE+ grip system, the POWERSPINE soleplate and a Primeknit collar, in laced, laceless and fold-over tongue versions. Around £220–£230 at launch.

Best for: competitive players who play several times a week and want every detail.

Pro

The one most players should buy. The Pro keeps the Elite’s shape and Predator character with a slightly more substantial upper, and simplifies the grip and soleplate. It feels a little less immediate, with a touch more material around the foot — but the core experience, a responsive control boot with useful grip and a stable striking platform, is intact.

Best for: regular players who want most of the Elite for considerably less.

League

Simpler materials and fit. The League is more forgiving than the top tiers — and, for many players, that’s a benefit rather than a compromise if you don’t want a paper-thin upper or an aggressive fit.

Best for: recreational players and developing young players.

Club

The entry level, built for durability and ease.

Best for: casual football, school games and fast-growing feet.

Our verdict

Buy the Pro unless you have a clear reason not to. Step up to the Elite if you play competitively and want the thinnest upper and full technology. Drop to League or Club for recreational football or for young players who’ll outgrow them in a season. And whichever tier you choose, buy the right outsole for your surface first.
