Where to buy
Where to Buy the Predator 26
Which Predator 26 to buy, in what size, and where to look for a good price.
The adidas Predator 26 launched at the start of December 2025 and comes in four levels: Elite, Pro, League and Club. Buying one well is mostly a matter of choosing the right version, the right size and the right soleplate for your pitch, then finding a seller you trust.
Prices change daily and differ by country, so we don’t print them here. Instead, this page covers what we can help with: what you get at each level, how the fit behaves, how to avoid fakes, and when boots tend to get cheaper. We haven’t tested the boot ourselves, so the fit notes below come from published reviews.
Choose the Version First
The fold-over tongue runs right down the range, so all four look unmistakably Predator. The differences are underneath. This draws on adidas’s launch material and a UK retailer’s breakdown of the range.
| Version | What you get | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|
| Elite | The full NanoStrike+ upper with rubber striking elements and the POWERSPINE soleplate. Laced, laceless and fold-over tongue (FT) options. | Regular competitive players |
| Pro | The same shape and feel, but the rubber striking elements are dropped and the upper is softer from the box. | Most regular players: it keeps much of the Elite’s character |
| League | A thicker mesh, a less stiff POWERSPINE and a roomier fit. | Recreational and developing players |
| Club | A soft synthetic upper, no POWERSPINE and a simpler outsole, with a regular fit. | Casual and school football, or growing feet |

Get the Surface Right
Buy the soleplate for the pitch you play on most. Listings use short codes: FG for firm ground, SG for soft ground, AG for artificial grass, TF for turf and IN for indoor. Not every code is offered at every level.
Firm-ground boots are not designed for regular use on artificial grass. If most of your football is on a modern 3G or 4G pitch, look for AG in the listing, which retailers do list on the Elite.
Sizing and Fit
The most detailed early review we’ve read describes the Predator 26 Elite as true to adidas length, with a roomy toe box but a midfoot that tapers, so it feels narrower through the centre of the foot than older Predators. The textile upper is firm when new, and the reviewer found it took roughly a session and a half to settle. They found wide feet might feel snug at first, while narrow feet could have spare room around the heel.
That is one reviewer’s experience on one foot shape. The practical advice is simple: don’t size up because the boot feels stiff, try before you buy where you can, and check the returns policy before you order. If you’re buying for a young player, junior sizes are available, and the Pro:Direct breakdown suggests League for younger or newer players and Club for first pairs and fast-growing feet.
Where to Buy
There are four main routes:
- adidas direct: the full range and every colourway, with the manufacturer’s returns policy.
- Large sports retailers: wide stock and frequent offers, though sizes and colourways vary.
- Specialist football-boot retailers: deeper ranges and boot-focused advice.
- Marketplaces: new and used pairs, with the widest price spread and the highest fake risk.
Whoever you buy from, check delivery times and returns before you pay. For marketplace buys, match the style code on the box label and the boot’s inner label to the listing, and be wary of prices far below everyone else’s. Our guide to spotting fake Predators covers more of the signs.
When to Look for a Sale
Colourways rotate through the season. adidas followed the main launch with special editions, including a limited “Unlocked” release in January 2026 and an EQT 35th-anniversary edition in March 2026. Retailers generally mark down older colourways and previous-generation boots as new ones arrive.
Limited special editions can cost more than standard colourways, and the EQT edition is reported to use the same technology as them. If performance is all you want, a standard colourway does the same job for less. Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I buy the Predator 26 on sale?
Look at adidas, large sports retailers and specialist boot shops, and compare the same version, size and soleplate across them. Older colourways are the most likely to be reduced. Check that any bargain is an authorised seller.
Which Predator 26 should I buy?
The Pro is the sensible choice for most regular players. The Elite is for players who notice the finest differences in materials and want the full NanoStrike+ and POWERSPINE package, and League and Club suit recreational and young players.
Does the Predator 26 run true to size?
Early reviews say it fits true to length, but the midfoot is snugger than older Predators when new. Try before you buy, and give it a session or two before judging the fit.
What does FT mean on a Predator 26?
FT stands for fold-over tongue, the classic Predator feature that sits over the laces. Elite also comes laced and laceless.
Can I buy the Predator 26 for artificial grass?
Yes. Look for AG in the product name or listing. Firm-ground boots are not designed for regular use on artificial pitches.
