Predator Edge

After the maximalism of the Freak, adidas did something unexpected: it sharpened the pencil.

The Predator Edge arrived in 2022 as a recalibration, not a retreat. The DEMONSKIN spikes were gone, replaced by ZONE SKIN — rubberised ribs engineered into four control zones across the instep and toe box. The look nodded knowingly to the Predator LZ of 2012, ten years on, right down to the launch colourway.

The construction changed underneath too. A Primeknit upper and a lower collar, a new split FACETFRAME soleplate, and a weighted POWER FACET in the forefoot, designed to shift weight forward at the moment of the strike.

The name told you everything. This was the Predator learning to cut more precisely. The bludgeon becoming a blade.

Jude Bellingham switched into it. A new generation of Predator player had found its boot.
