Predator Signature Editions

Most Predators are made for everyone. A few are made for one player.
These are the special editions: boots that carry a player’s name, logo or story, sometimes sold in tiny numbers and sometimes never sold at all. They are the rarest Predators ever made, and the ones collectors want most.
This page covers the player editions. For re-releases of classic models in their original colours, see Remakes vs Originals.
Beckham, Zidane and Bellingham all appear in Under The Tongue, adidas’s own feature-length documentary on thirty years of the Predator. It’s worth an hour of anyone’s time.
David Beckham
No player has had more special Predators than Beckham. His story runs for more than twenty years.
2004: The Pulse DB
The first true Beckham Predator arrived in 2004 on the Predator Pulse. It introduced his personal logo — the silhouette of Beckham shaping up to take a free kick — stitched onto the heel.
Only 723 pairs were made. Today it is one of the hardest Predators to find.

2007–2009: The PowerSwerve and Predator X Years
As his career moved to Los Angeles, the PowerSwerve and then the Predator X gave Beckham more room to put his own stamp on his boots. The Predator X Beckham of late 2009, in white and red, is the one collectors remember best — and, as you’ll see below, adidas hasn’t forgotten it either.
2019: The 25 Years Precision
For the Predator’s 25th anniversary, adidas gave Beckham an Archive Pack built around the boot he wore for the free kick against Greece: the Predator Precision. All-white kangaroo leather, the red tongue, a DB mark on the heel, and red and white laces in the box. It went on sale on 7 March 2019.
2024: The Originals Predator 24
In November 2024, adidas released a Beckham edition of the Predator 24 limited to 3,000 pairs worldwide. It broke new ground in two ways. It brought kangaroo leather back to the tongue and strike zone of a modern Predator, and it put the adidas Originals Trefoil on a Predator for the first time. The white and blue colourway was taken from Beckham’s own boots of 2005.
2025: The Pink Predator
A year later came a second signature on the Predator 25: bubblegum pink with black Three Stripes, inspired by Inter Miami, the club Beckham co-owns. Pink was a nod back to the boots of his MLS playing days too.
Coming Next
Two more Beckham editions have been widely leaked but, at the time of writing, not yet released. The first is a white and red Predator 26 in England colours, echoing that 2009 Predator X. The second is a new Predator Precision dedicated entirely to Greece in 2001, with “90+3” on the tongue, his No. 7 on the heel and the match details printed on the insole. We’ll update this page when they land.
Zinedine Zidane
Zidane’s special Predators are rarer, and some of the most beautiful ever made.
2006: The Gold Absolute
For the 2006 World Cup, adidas made Zidane gold Predator Absolutes. They were made only for him, and he wore them in the final tournament of his career, all the way to the final in Berlin.
2019: The 25 Years Accelerator
The gold returned for the 25th anniversary. Zidane’s Archive Pack remade the Predator Accelerator he wore at the 1998 World Cup in gold kangaroo leather, with blue, white and red highlights for France and four sets of laces: gold, navy, white and red.
2026: ZZ30
In September 2026, adidas marked thirty years with Zidane with a limited edition Predator 26, and it may be the most personal Predator ever made.
It is white and metallic gold, with touches of blue, white and red for France. The fold-over tongue carries his logo in gold, drawn from the Hampden volley. The elastic straps tell his life story: the right boot names the cities of his professional career — Cannes, Bordeaux, Turin and Madrid — and the left names where he started, La Castellane, Saint Henri and Septèmes. Even the Three Stripes are lenticular, shifting between the adidas logo and “ZZ” as the boot moves.
It went on sale on 8 September 2026. Read Zidane’s full Predator story.
Steven Gerrard
Gerrard is the great exception. As far as we can find, he never had a signature Predator on general sale — but adidas made him some of the most meaningful one-off pairs in the boot’s history.
2015: The 700th Appearance
To mark his 700th appearance for Liverpool, adidas made him a personalised pair of Predator Instincts.
2015: The Anfield Farewell
For his last match at Anfield in May 2015, adidas went further. The farewell Instincts faded from Liverpool red at the toe to white at the heel — a nod to his move to LA Galaxy. His initials sat on the heel, “You’ll Never Walk Alone” ran beside the Three Stripes, and his children’s names were written inside.
Later that year, Gerrard signed the pair and donated them to the British Red Cross appeal for refugees in Europe. They sold on eBay for £40,200.

Jude Bellingham
The modern era of signature Predators belongs to Bellingham. Between October 2024 and February 2026, adidas gave him four: BelliGold, Chrome Dream, the Birmingham-inspired Glory Blue and the England Icon Takeover.

What Makes a Signature Edition Worth Collecting
Three things drive value.
- Numbers. A stated production run, like the Pulse DB’s 723 pairs or the Predator 24 Beckham’s 3,000, puts a ceiling on supply.
- Personal detail. The editions collectors want most tell a story only one player could tell: a postcode, a list of cities, a date on the insole.
- Provenance. Boots a player actually wore sit in a different league altogether. Gerrard’s farewell pair shows how far that can go.
